It is just beginning to dawn on me that SUMMER is OVAH. Where did it go? It has been a slow blogging season for me this summer, so in an effort to get me back in the groove I've decided to send out some "recap" blogs. Hopefully I can keep the commentary cohesive. But if not, just enjoy the pictures mom!
Above are some misc. pictures from this summer. The photo of Sophia shaking hands with someone is from an awards program for the school. She won a Presidential award for her art and the certificate was presented by the US Ambassador.
This summer we went on a field trip with my Russian language teacher to a bee farm. Mike got all suited up so he could snap some pictures. The family who runs the bee farm lives in a camper all summer and moves the bee houses every few weeks so the bees can tap into whatever trees/flowers are blooming. We were treated to a nice lunch and lots of honey. We bought a HUGE jug of honey which I think will last until we leave Moldova.
