It's official, momma has no more babies. Anna Banana turned 2 last week - diapers are about to bite the dust in the Longhauser household, AMEN!! By the way, I asked Sophia some weeks ago if mom should have more babies, she looked at me, eyes filled with the wisdom of her 5 years here on earth, and answered, "uh, mom, I don't think that's a very good idea." Wise beyond her years. Anyhow, the Longhausers were able to visit for a few days and help celebrate Miss Anna's birthday, which the kids just loved.
I made Anna a horsey cake which took HOURS to decorate, but she seemed to think it was pretty neat.
I was recently mentioning to a friend how the kids have been strangly healthy since moving to Va. Other than scheduled check-ups I have yet to call the pediatrician ...since September - unheard of for our family. I should have known better. BAM!!!! no sooner did the words escape my lips. Sure enough the past 2 weeks have been 1 sick kid after another - toped off by me in bed for 2 days with a sinus infection that I thought surely was going to be my demise.
The following pictoral montage is what happens when mom is upstairs sicker than a dog and dad is left in charge. Doesn't take a genius to see how this one is going to end!
