HEDGEHOGS!

How cute is this hedgehog??

Apparently our yard is teaming with these guys. We have started a weekend tradition of "adopt a hedgehog". After dark, Mike and the kids canvas the yard for these guys and we bring one inside to play. They really are cute, but VERY sharp (just ask Margo)! According to google, they even make pretty good pets. in fact, if we weren't leaving in a few months, i just may have entertained the thought.

ANNA IS 6!!!

AnnaBanana, Pumpkin Pie, Itsy Bits is now 6!

I wanted to try this rainbow cake that i had seen somewhere. My original plan was a rainbow layered cake (1 layer red, 1 layer orange, etc...), but after red and purple crumbled when i tried to get them out of the pan, I moved onto plan B. Finishing touch was supposed to be skittles, which are absolutely not available here. I was able to find smartees (fake M&M's), which promptly began to melt into the frosting. Oh well.
