MARGO and MULLETS

Meet Margo (aka Marge).  She is our new 10 month old dalmation.  We got her the night before mom and dad left Moldova which was the best move ever on our part.  What was ramping up to be a very tearful goodbye to grandma and grandpa, turned out to be more of a "see ya" due to the uncontrollable excitement of having a new dog.  Our second "best move ever" was finding a puppy that was already potty trained.  Other than peeing when we come home (and she is very excited), she is yet to date, accident free.  To say the kids love her is an understatement.  They spend countless hours every day trying to play with her, leading her around the house on a leash, and sneaking her treats.  Margo is very calm, very sweet, and loves to sleep in our bed UNDER THE COVERS! - Something that was absolutely hysterical the first 1 or 2 nights she did it and now is becoming a bit more bothersome.  Margo can do some tricks such as smiling and some funny things with a big exercise ball.  The kids are very excited about her talent potential as they would very much like Margo to be a circus dog.

Not to be upstaged by a new dog....Anna decided to cut herself a mullet.  While I was out volunteering my time at an orphanage, my dear, sweet, angel got her hands on some scissors.  The pictures speak for themselves....

Can't say I'd be quite so mad if it hadn't taken 3 years to grow it like it had been!  Happy Father's Day to you all.  Have a great week.

Congrats on the dalmatian! Now you have a 4th kid. And Anna cut her hair only 2 weeks after Austin had cut Ashley's hair! Did you see our blog? I had to chop Ash's sweet hair. Only you and I can sympathize w/each other as it has taken 3 years to get this way!!!! so sad.

Oh no! Gotta love a good mullet . . . just not one on your own kid! It takes Viggo and Svea's hair a looong time to grow so I feel your pain.

Margo sounds so sweet! Yes, you are a genius to get her right before your folks left :)
